Experience

I have worked in administrative and management roles for over 25 years. My recent experience in Policing is predominantly in Resourcing. Previously I worked for the Department for Work and Pensions for over 20 years in an Operations capacity.

I can help you with…

Providing administrative support to the FCN Programme. Ensure all aspects of general clerical and administrative support are effectively carried out. Specific areas of service include record keeping, minute taking, liaison with external Forces, research, collation and preparation of agendas/papers in respect of the FCN Delivery Plan.

What was your first job in policing or forensics?

As a Resourcing and Recruitment Administrator with Devon and Cornwall Police. Supporting various Force departments with the recruitment of Police Staff and Officers.

What is your favourite part of your role?

Supporting my colleagues with clerical functions and learning all things Forensics (Digital, Physical, Marketplace) from both the Quality and Science Directorates. The admin role gives me the opportunity to connect with a community of forensic practitioners and leaders in order to gather information, share best practice and learn!

What work in your career have you most enjoyed?

I had a significant role to play with the ongoing Police Enquiry Officer uplift in Devon and Cornwall with the reopening of 17 front desks and the successful recruitment of over 40 new PEO’s into Police Stations across the region.
